Casa Purnell

Casa Purnell is a self catering 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a 180° view of the Pacific Ocean with quick access to one of the best surf breaks in Baja.

Location

Las Gaviotas is located at the KM 41 marker off of the free road which is about 10 minutes South of the nearest city, Rosarito Beach (Playas Rosarito)

The house is situated next to a walkway which leads to the beach, ocean side association pool, jacuzzi and shuffleboard. The house is on the top row in near the center of the community. The tennis court is located about 5 houses away.

Bedrooms

There is a master bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower.
The second bedroom has two twin beds. Towels and linens are supplied.
Each bedroom and main room has a flat screen television, ceiling fan and heater.

Kitchen

Appliances include:
Gas cook top, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender and coffee maker.

Main Room

The main room is rounded to take advantage of the ocean view with a large sliding door to provide direct access to the patio.
The room is adorned with masks that our family has collected from around the world over the past 5 decades.
There is a wood burning fireplace to keep you warm on the winter nights.

A table that seats four for dining and game play along with a couch that fits neatly against the round wall.

Large flat screen TV, DVD Player (with a stack of classics) and stereo system to round out your entertainment needs. Bring a Fire Stick or Chrome Cast to stream your own content.

Patio

Probably the best part of the whole house!
Relax and take in the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
A large umbrella is provided to give you shade and a propane fire table to keep you warm at night.
Propane BBQ available to cook up the local catch that the fish vendor sells down by the pool on the weekends.

240 Volt 40 amp plug (NEMA 14-50) in dedicated parking spot to charge electric vehicle.

Access

You will be provided with your own access code to the door which will work during your stay. You can access the house 24/7 and your check in / check out process is unattended.

The community is access controlled by a security team who is onsite around the clock.

Nightly Rates vary from $179 to $250 depending on your dates:

$50 Cleaning Fee

2 night minimum stay - 4 guests maximum including children

No pets can be accommodated due to strict HOA rules.

Repeat guests earn free nights and are eligible for early check in and late check outs when it can be accommodated.
